Megabass’s HADARA TRAP is a sinking bait developed to produce a complex escape action that is not confined to conventional lure categories or fixed action characteristics. Based on a high-pitch rolling drive with flash, it automatically adds side-to-side zigzag darts during the retrieve, creating an irregular escape trajectory unlike a straight-line movement.
The body is designed according to Yuki Ito’s hydrodynamics theory and features a tandem center-of-gravity transfer system with two ultra-high-specific-gravity, large-diameter tungsten balancers. While ensuring long-distance casting performance, it stays within a depth of 50 cm or less during a fast retrieve after splashdown, making it easy to maintain a consistent shallow-running depth across broad shallow areas. In addition to horizontal retrieves, it produces a flat-flank vibration on the lift and a shimmy fall that makes the body tremble finely as it falls, allowing three-dimensional presentations at varying depths.
This sinking model measures 86 mm in length and weighs 29 g, and is equipped with two #4 hooks. It can be worked with a fast retrieve immediately after splashdown, a retrieve focused on maintaining a consistent depth, or a lift-and-fall presentation.
