Megabass’s VATISSA is a slim minnow developed to imitate ragworm patterns and slender baitfish patterns on the surface. Its ultra-small hexagonal lip deflects water flow, generating subtle vibrations and a responsive rolling action without creating excessive movement. Despite its super-slim body, its aerodynamic design and magnetic weight-transfer system enable long-distance casting.
On an ultra-slow retrieve, it produces a slow roll with minimal wobbling, replicating the subtle movements of ragworms and sandworms. At slow to medium speeds, its tight-pitch rolling action is suited to situations where predators are chasing slender baitfish such as icefish and halfbeaks. On a fast retrieve, it stays below the surface without breaking through, maintaining an extremely shallow subsurface range while attracting fish with its rolling action and flash. By adjusting both the retrieve speed and rod-tip height, it can be worked anywhere from a surface retrieve with a subtle wake to a subsurface roll. As a floating lure, it is well suited to a steady retrieve through current seams and along the shoreline. The 93F measures 93 mm, weighs 6 g, and is equipped with two No. 8 hooks, while the 115F measures 115 mm, weighs 9 g, and is equipped with three No. 8 hooks, allowing anglers to choose between them according to bait size and the desired level of attraction.
