Megabass’s GORHAM 147F SW is a jointed wakebait equipped with Twin Spark LBO (PAT.), designed for situations where predators are feeding on large baitfish such as Japanese sardines, mullet, and gizzard shad. Each section of the jointed body houses one LBO II unit, and the two weights shift instantaneously during the cast to deliver long-distance casting performance. The two LBO units transition into the swimming position in sync, making it easy to initiate the action as soon as the retrieve begins while maintaining action stability even in rough water.
Its natural tail swing, combined with a roll action synchronized and aligned with the Twin Spark LBO system, produces high-pitch flashing and a wake that churns the surface. The “Screw Drive” action transitions from continuous, sharply cutting turn-in movements to a powerful roll that digs just beneath the surface, providing an effective presentation for targeting baitfish in the upper water column. The lure measures 147 mm, weighs 45 g, and features a floating configuration with a maximum diving depth of 0.1 m. It is fitted with three size #2 hooks. It can be used for an upstream drift while taking up slack in the line, retrieved downstream at dead-slow speed to create a wake, or worked slightly deeper with the fast-pitch flashing and rolling action of a minnow.
