Megabass’s SAZANKA 140F is a big wake bait designed to deliver versatile action and a wide range of coverage, probing from the surface to just below the waterline. Its high-buoyancy, large-volume body and air-room lip allow the action to change according to retrieve speed, from slow to fast. At slow speeds, it produces a responsive rolling action with strong water displacement and a wake, transitioning to a wide wobbling roll as the retrieve speed increases. Its powerful wake action churns the water just below the surface, making it ideal for situations where fish are focused on baitfish near the surface.
Adding jerks during the retrieve produces a sliding action that follows an S-shaped path with a rolling motion. Even when fish are unresponsive to a standard wake action, its irregular side-to-side darting provides a change of pace. Inside, it is equipped with the LBO II (PAT.) weight-transfer system. The low-resistance weight generates inertial impact for easy long-distance casting, even into a headwind. This floating model measures 140 mm and weighs 48 g, with a maximum diving depth of 0.4 m. It is designed to be fished primarily with a slow retrieve to create a wake, while varying the retrieve speed and incorporating jerks during the retrieve according to the fish’s response.
