Megabass GENMA is a systematic sinking pencil designed to combine controllability and casting distance in currents and tidal flows, while allowing anglers to select the most suitable model for different conditions and fishing styles. Its key feature is the vertically positioned swimming plate on the front of the head, which provides quick action start-up, stability during the retrieve, and moderate resistance that makes the lure easy to sense and control. In addition, its proprietary weight-transfer system delivers both long casting distance and rapid action start-up.
GENMA 85S is an 85 mm model suited to the early season, bay areas, rivers, canals, and other small-scale fishing spots, as well as situations when fish are selectively feeding on small baitfish. The 13 g model is tuned for a wavering action carried by currents and tidal flows, while the 17 g model emphasizes casting distance, bottom contact sensitivity, and depth control. GENMA 110S is a 110 mm model that is easy to use in a wider range of conditions. The 21 g model is suited to fishing with the lure carried by currents and tidal flows, while the 29 g model is designed to take advantage of casting distance, bottom contact sensitivity, and depth control. Sizes and weights are as follows: 85S, 85 mm and 13 g/17 g; 110S, 110 mm and 21 g/29 g. Hook configurations are #6 × 2 for the 85S and #4 × 2 for the 110S.
