JACKALL’s TG BINBIN SWITCH is a tai-rubber lure featuring a compact silhouette unlike conventional fishing-tackle-style tai-rubber lures. The body and the skirt-and-hook assembly are separated into individual parts and arranged in parallel. Made from high-density tungsten, it maintains a compact profile while providing a fast sink rate and easy bottom contact. The streamlined body is suspended in a hanging configuration to create a hydrodynamic effect, helping reduce the influence of current even in two-layer currents and delivering a fast fall and stable action during fast retrieves. Its construction also makes it easier to convert bites on the body into hookups, making it suitable for offshore games targeting red sea bream as well as yellowtail, flounder, red-spotted grouper, rockfish, and other species.
It features a free-sliding switch system using a sliding part made from abrasion-resistant resin to help reduce line damage. The free-sliding construction helps reduce the risk of fish coming unhooked during the fight. The body is connected with a split ring and can be replaced. The standard skirt uses a curly-style T+ rubber with adjusted thickness, hardness, and shape, infused with shrimp powder and shrimp oil. Thread the skirt through the knot of the hook’s assist line and secure it with the Backfire Cap. The hook is positioned so it does not easily interfere with the skirt’s action, and the assist-line length is adjusted according to the weight. The 35–80 g models use an even-length configuration, while the 100 g and 120 g models use a stepped configuration suited to the larger heads. The basic technique is to drop the lure and retrieve it, and it is designed to be used with a tai-rubber rod suited to a hook-setting style.
