JACKALL’s SABULL is a surf fishing series designed to deliver a worm-like, subtle presentation to offshore areas. The SABULL OVERHEAD features a “long-stroke sliding line eye,” which allows the snap to move behind the head during the cast, shifting the center of gravity rearward to maximize casting distance. During the retrieve, the head is designed not to swim excessively, allowing the paired worm to produce its natural action for a lifelike presentation. The hook system consists of two treble hooks connected by a triple crane swivel.
The SABULL SWINGREAPER achieves a stable flight posture and long casting distance with its rear-weighted head and specially shaped eye, which moves the hook toward the front during the cast. The slender curly tail, rubber, and tie generate soft, subtle vibrations and a tight swinging action, while the nearly horizontal swimming posture creates a natural presentation. The head features a lift-producing surface for slow retrieves. The basic technique is a steady retrieve, which brings out the tie’s fluttering action. The hook setup consists of two treble hooks, positioned front and rear and connected by wire.
