JACKALL’s RAICO 132F is a wake bait developed for large baitfish patterns involving gizzard shad, mullet, ayu, and other species. Designed to balance ease of use with fundamental performance, it features a fat body equipped with a tungsten weight-transfer system. Its 42 g configuration, including hooks, and specially shaped lip that allows air resistance to escape deliver a stable flight posture and long casting distance. A bridge-shaped surface on the underside of the lip reduces retrieve resistance, while the central opening helps prevent interference with the lure’s action response.
The primary action is a tight wobble and roll that is not overly aggressive, remaining relatively unaffected by the current from up-current cross-stream presentations through down-current cross-stream retrieves, and performing well in fast tidal and river currents. When it encounters changes in water flow, it momentarily loses balance and flashes its side in an “unsteady action,” giving following fish an opportunity to bite. It also features a built-in large-diameter steel-ball rattle, providing both an auditory attraction and an easy way to gauge the lure’s distance during night fishing. After landing, the internal weight automatically returns as soon as reeling begins, allowing the action to start quickly without a single jerk. The running depth can be adjusted from the surface down to 60 cm by changing the rod angle and retrieve speed. It is equipped with #3 treble hooks and #4 split rings.
