JACKALL’s BIGBACKER is a shore-based metal jig series designed around long-casting performance and simple operation. The BIGBACKER Jig features a rear-weighted body, making it easier to achieve distance even in headwind conditions and suitable for targeting distant baitfish activity, current seams, and changes in bottom structure. This sinking standard jig can be worked with a straight retrieve after a long cast, one-pitch jerks, lift-and-fall presentations, and more.
The BIGBACKER Jig is equipped with an assist hook combining a fluorocarbon-coated hook and holographic sheet to handle bites from the front. A treble hook comes standard on the rear eye, accounting for fish such as small pelagic species and flatfish that can be difficult to hook with only the front single hook. When using aggressive actions, fishing around rough cover, or targeting larger fish, it can also be configured with only the front hook. Different weights, including 20 g, 30 g, and 40 g, can be selected according to the situation.
The BIGBACKER RUSHBLADE is a blade-equipped casting jig designed for straight retrieves after a long cast. During the retrieve, the blade spins while making the body wobble, while on a free fall, the blade flutters to attract fish. The hook is positioned directly behind the blade, creating a design intended to reduce the short strikes commonly associated with blade lures. By combining different retrieve speeds with free-fall presentations, it is suitable for searching from the surface through the mid-water range and down to near the bottom.
