Its soft-lure lineup centers on the SB Rodem series, which combines jig heads and soft plastics to pursue natural, baitfish-inspired movement and ease of control. The signature Sea Bass Rodem R Blade pairs a realistically shaped jig head with a soft plastic body, combining the lure’s natural action with the blade’s flash. A bottom-touch sensor is built into the lower front of the head, making it easier to detect when the lure reaches the bottom. The soft plastic body features an alignment hole and grooves, while the jig head is equipped with a soft-plastic keeper and alignment rail. The body is mounted along the rail and secured by pressing it onto the keeper, allowing for quick replacement. Despite featuring a blade, the soft plastic body can be changed with a single touch, making it easy to adapt to body wear and changing conditions. The derivative model, the SB Rodem R Upper, features a swimming posture designed to maintain a horizontal attitude and line eyes that can be selected at two positions: rear or front. The rear eye provides a primarily horizontal posture, while the front eye allows the lure to be used with shallow-water areas in mind. In addition, the soft plastic body’s sail-upper-tail design responds quickly during slow retrieves and lift-and-fall presentations.
