The Imakatsu Inch Hairy Hawg Elastomer is an elastomer version of the micro-bait style hog worm, the Inch Hairy Hawg. Featuring numerous "hairs" distributed throughout its body, it maintains the same number and arrangement of hairs as the original worm version, achieving a multi-hair hog shape. The use of elastomer material allows for the hardening and elongation of the "hairs," which was difficult with traditional worm materials, resulting in a slightly stiff type of material with excellent tension. This unique elastomer's elasticity and recovery create spontaneous action, causing the hairs to vibrate finely with micro shakes or slight water currents. The silhouette changes and subtle vibrations from the many hairs enhance its appeal to bass, forming the core design concept. Additionally, the long, taut hairs serve as a guard around the hook point, helping to reduce snagging when fishing around cover. Recommended rigs include jig head rigs from 0.9 to 1.8g and nail rigs with nail sinkers from 0.9 to 1.3g, making it suitable for various situations. In bass fishing, the Inch Hairy Hawg Elastomer offers an effective approach thanks to its unique action and structure.
