Its slim body and water-catching head shape generate a rolling action even on a slow retrieve. Jet Boost is a system that supports a moving center-of-gravity weight with a through shaft and spring, combining high initial casting speed, stable flight posture, and quick swimming action after splashdown. The Counter Wake 160F Jet Boost features a slim 160 mm body that reduces air resistance while slowly swimming just below the surface and creating a wake. A straight retrieve can make it dive slightly, allowing it to cover situations where a topwater lure runs too shallow and a minnow runs too deep. The Konoshiro Pencil 185F Slide Tune uses a weight balance created by a high-density tungsten weight to produce a responsive sliding action in response to reeling and rod movements. It combines a dog-walk-and-splash action, a rattle sound, and an almost horizontal floating posture, while the hooks and split rings are also designed with fine-gauge construction for seabass fishing.
