Shimano’s ENGETSU series was developed for Tai-Rubber fishing, allowing anglers to fine-tune the shape and action of the necktie and configure their rig to suit the conditions of the day. BAKUBAKU Necktie features a 0.5–0.6 mm thick design that moves delicately while helping to reduce tangles with the hooks. Different shapes, including straight and curly types, can be selected according to the situation, while the necktie type, color, length, and width can be adjusted to vary the level of attraction.
BAKUBAKU Necktie is attached to a backing film, making it easy to cut with scissors together with the backing and allowing for tuning, such as narrowing its width. The straight type offers a simple setup that helps minimize tangles, while the curly type allows anglers to take advantage of the movement created by its curved shape. With Tai-Rubber rigs featuring sliding parts, such as ENGETSU Tiger BAKUBAKU and Flat BAKUBAKU, the necktie can be replaced without cutting the leader. This replacement part is ideal for experimenting with different necktie lengths and shapes to find what the fish respond to.
