AMS Design’s sasuke is a lipless minnow that combines a stable flight posture with excellent water grip through its distinctive ladle lip, allowing it to start swimming easily even on a slow retrieve. The integrated lip-and-body design reduces air resistance and contributes to stable flight balance. Its basic action is a wobble-and-roll, and by adjusting the ratio of wobbling to rolling, it produces a smooth movement reminiscent of a baitfish.
The representative sasuke 120 裂波 is a saltwater-floating model with a running depth of 70–90 cm, making it suitable for probing areas with current, such as rivers and surf zones, while maintaining its depth. The sasuke 120 剛力 features an Eight Ring, increased body strength, and enhanced buoyancy, and is designed for situations requiring a stronger wobble than the 裂波. The sasuke 120 裂空 is equipped with MRD (Magnet Rebound Driving), retaining the 裂波’s buoyancy setting while incorporating a design with stronger rolling action. In addition, the sasuke 140 裂波 is an option intended for larger baitfish and longer casting distance. Since the overall length, weight, buoyancy, running depth, and hook size vary by model, they can be selected according to the depth where the fish are holding, the current, and the size of the baitfish.
