The Smith Twody is a minnow-like topwater plug designed for trout fishing. With a landing angle of 60° to 70° that keeps it upright, and a rounded belly, it performs lively dog walks and table turns on the surface. When jerked sharply, it dives just below the surface, and its cup-shaped head and slightly flattened body create irregular actions that trigger strikes. The Twody is particularly effective in still waters or currents when trout are actively feeding on the surface.
