This guard-equipped jig head is designed for finesse fishing with light lines under 4lb. It achieves a delicate roll action and a high hook-up rate, while the guard allows for precise targeting of structures that were previously challenging with traditional Vespas. With the addition of the guard, the hook size remains unchanged, but the wire diameter has been slightly increased to handle tough battles around obstacles.
