JDM Lure Technique from Japan #11 Micro Hover Strolling with Kazuma Sassa.

He has multiple tournament wins and is supported by Garmin, Shimano, DSTYLE, and Hayabusa.

Micro Hover Strolling is a very Japanese ultra-finesse FFS technique.

Around 2021, this technique was not yet widely known in Japan.

It was a true secret weapon used by only a few cutting-edge JB TOP50 anglers.

At that time, Kyoya Fujita, Yui Aoki, and Kazuma Sassa were among the only anglers who understood and used this 1-inch class micro worm technique with forward-facing sonar.

In the fall 2021 JB tournament, those three anglers used this secret approach and dominated the top positions.

That result marked the beginning of a new generation of Japanese FFS fishing.

A few years later, Japanese manufacturers have now released small soft baits and special hooks designed specifically for this technique.

This time, Sassa introduces:

DSTYLE MOZAALA 2.5"
Hayabusa D-STRIKER TYPE HOVER

MOZAALA is made from elastomer material and has high buoyancy.

By adjusting the nail sinker, anglers can control the balance of the bait and move it at an extremely slow speed.

The fins catch water and act like a brake, helping the bait stay in the strike zone longer.

The tail reacts to even very small movements and creates a complex, subtle action, making it difficult for following bass to turn away.

This is one of Japan’s most advanced ultra-finesse techniques for forward-facing sonar fishing.
