REAL FISHER’s Ebi Rubber is a hybrid tai-rubber lure that combines elements of tenya and tai-rubber fishing, making it suitable for presentations designed around shrimp-style bait. Developed on the water by a charter boat captain, it is designed to minimize body rolling during slow- to medium-speed steady retrieves, producing a stable retrieve feel characteristic of tai-rubber while attracting fish.

A distinctive feature is the Ebi Rubber’s unique stepped stinger-hook configuration. It provides a secure way to attach live shrimp, frozen shrimp, isome-style bait, and soft-plastic trailers, allowing anglers to switch between a baited tenya-style setup and a retrieve style closer to conventional tai-rubber fishing. When bait or a trailer is rigged, it is best used with a steady retrieve while adjusting the speed to search different depths. Available weights include 45g, 60g, 80g, 100g, 120g, and 150g, allowing selection according to water depth and current conditions, from shallow areas to deep water.
