Flash Union Searevo Slasher

FLASH UNION’s SEAREVO Thrasher is a floating pencil lure developed in collaboration with Captain Yamada of Glitter, a charter fishing boat based in Aomori. Designed for casting to feeding fish and drawing fish to the surface, its unique shape cuts through the water’s surface to produce continuous flashes, making it highly visible when sardines are the primary bait.

The body features a diving throat to reduce misdives, along with hydro kickers on both sides. As a diving pencil, it produces a quick wobbling action; when operated with slack in the line, it transitions into a sliding action accompanied by flashes. In addition to retrieving it at a steady rhythm, incorporating pauses that release line tension creates an enticing presentation unlike a purely linear movement.

When targeting yellowtail amberjack or giant trevally (GT), it can also be ripped quickly with light force, triggering bites with movements that are less likely to be recognized as a lure. The Thrasher 210 measures 210 mm in length, weighs 98 g, and is manufactured in Japan. The Thrasher 190, 260, and 300 were listed as under development at the time of publication on the official website.
