Rise Japan Namidama

RISE JAPAN’s Namidama is a tai-rubber lure designed with a head shape that minimizes water resistance, focusing on a fast fall speed and light, responsive retrieve. The balance has been adjusted for each weight, making it easier to achieve a stable feel and control according to the conditions.

In addition to the standard setup, with the eye side of the head facing the unit, the head can also be mounted in the reverse direction to increase resistance. This allows anglers to adjust the retrieve resistance when the boat is stationary or when fishing vertically. The rig section features a high-strength swivel and thick tubing, making unit assembly easier, while the tube stopper helps prevent the skirt and rubber from slipping during a bite. The heat-resistant tube is designed to accommodate thicker leaders.

The standard unit is equipped with four extra-thick rubber strands that produce movement with changes in retrieve speed and current, along with two ultra-thin straight curly neckties that perform even during super-slow retrieves. Setting the curly sections below the hooks makes it easier to generate action, while adjusting the number of rubber strands and neckties allows the volume to be varied. The hooks use RISE JAPAN’s original tandem two-hook arrangement, designed to provide good initial hooking performance and stability during the fight by positioning the hooks close together.
