Start 2 Step Lead

START’s 2step Lead Complete is a tai-rubber lure designed to take advantage of the characteristics of a lead head, which differs from tungsten tai-rubber, offering a larger silhouette and slower sink rate. It is developed to create a slow yet powerful presentation for situations where you want a larger silhouette in muddy water or when fish are less responsive to a fast fall. Available weights are 60 g, 80 g, 100 g, 120 g, and 150 g.

A hole is provided at the rear of the head, allowing the unit to fit securely inside for improved stability. This design stabilizes the unit’s movement, helps trigger bites, and contributes to reliable hooksets. It is also equipped with a highly durable pipe that resists damage and deterioration, allowing long-term use without replacing the pipe. The basic technique is to let it sink close to the bottom, then retrieve it while taking advantage of the lead head’s slow fall and larger silhouette. It is an easy-to-select model for situations where tungsten tai-rubber does not provide enough attraction, based on the water’s turbidity, fish response, and reaction to the fall speed.
