Basic Japan’s Jig-tan comes pre-rigged with a soft plastic lure mounted on a jig head, so it is ready to use straight out of the package. It combines a 1.5 g jig head with an approximately 1.7-inch straight-style soft plastic lure and features a size #6 hook. Eliminating the need to rig the soft plastic onto the jig head makes this an easy-to-use setup for anglers who want to prepare a rig quickly or are not yet familiar with jig head rigs.
The soft plastic lure is made from a stretchable material designed to help it stay securely mounted on the hook and resist slipping during repeated casts or when fish strike. As a complete jig-head rig, it can be used with basic techniques such as retrieving and allowing the lure to fall, while anglers can search the area by varying the retrieve speed and rod action to suit the conditions. Available colors include Pink Glitter, Chartreuse Glitter, Clear Red Glitter, Clear Blue Glitter (UV), Clear Silver Glitter, Krill, Glow, Melon Glow, and Pink Neon (UV). In addition to single-color options, a five-color assortment is also available.
