BKK Strawberry Hook

BKK’s ICHIGO HOOK 1.5X TWIN ASSIST is a jigging assist hook developed under the supervision of Hiroto Yamamoto based on the concept of achieving strength with a fine-wire design. It is made from BKK’s proprietary HCS (High Carbon Steel), combining the easy penetration of a slender hook profile with the strength needed to resist deformation during the fight. The design helps prevent the bend from opening under load and keeps the hook point from slipping away, enhancing hook-up performance and holding power throughout the fight.

A flattened section is incorporated into the areas where load is concentrated to help prevent deformation of the bend. The bend area that holds the fish features a round-wire construction, providing strength while helping to reduce tearing and pullouts. The TWIN ASSIST is a complete assist-hook rig that combines the ICHIGO HOOK 1.5X with a BKK-WELDED RING-51 and an original fluorocarbon-core assist cord, allowing it to be used immediately after attaching it to a jig. Available in hook sizes 2/0 and 3/0, it comes with assist cord lengths of 2.0–3.5 cm, allowing you to choose according to the size of the jig and desired handling characteristics. The hook features a BRIGHT TIN coating.
