TRANSCENDENCE’s Currentes 82/98S+ Rev.2 is a versatile sea bass rod featuring a Trans System that allows the length to be changed between 8.2 ft and 9.8 ft, enabling anglers to select the appropriate configuration for different fishing conditions. With a multi-piece design that packs down to 550 mm, it offers excellent portability while being engineered for efficient lure control and a smooth casting stroke.

In the 8.2 ft configuration, the rod is easy to handle in relatively confined areas such as rivers and harbors, with a tip design that readily accommodates underhand and side casting. In the 9.8 ft configuration, the regular-fast taper allows the entire blank to bend naturally, providing reliable load absorption during long casts and fights. The blank uses four-axis carbon, while the guides combine titanium and SiC. Equipped with a tubular tip and a variable balancer weight system, it handles lures from 8 to 35 g and PE line from No. 0.8 to No. 2. From lightweight soft-bait jighead rigs to minnows and metal lures, it allows anglers to work a wide range of lures used in sea bass fishing according to the selected length configuration.
