Studio Composite Saber Jerk

Studio Composite’s Saber Jerk is a jerkbait designed to draw fish in for a bite without making them wary, using its 23 cm, straight, realistic silhouette and subtle vibrations. This floating model measures 230 mm and weighs 34 g. Despite its voluminous body, it can be worked with jerks or retrieved quickly without added action. Jerking produces different responses according to the input, while a fast, no-action retrieve allows the lure to be worked quietly at a steady speed.

The body comes without split rings or hooks, allowing anglers to configure it according to their preferred fishing style. Hooks can be attached at three positions. The manufacturer has tested a barbless setup using single hooks at the front and center positions and a twin-hook system at the rear. When using treble hooks, the recommended setup is to flatten the barbs to avoid injuring fish more than necessary.
