Huerco’s MG Series “Micro Game (MG Series [Mirco Game] (R) ver.)” is a multi-piece rod designed for targeting small saltwater species, with an emphasis on the controllability of lightweight lures, sensitivity to subtle bites, and the ability to detect when a rig reaches the bottom. This renewed model features revised carbon materials and blank construction. The midsection through the butt has been given added stiffness, providing enough power to handle fish in the 30 cm class, including small rockfish. The guides use stainless steel frames with SiC rings, creating a setup that helps minimize problems during nighttime use.

The MG600R-5S is a 6-foot short model with a sharp feel designed for casting from 1 g, and is equipped with a short carbon solid tip that makes extremely small jigheads easy to handle. Its configuration helps prevent the rod from rejecting inhaling bites, while making it easier to detect bottom contact and subtle bites from small fish. The MG700R-5S is a user-friendly 7-foot spinning model compatible with jighead worms, drop-shot rigs, ultralight jigs, and small plugs. The MG800R-6S is an 8-foot long model designed for long-distance casting with setups such as float rigs and Carolina rigs, allowing lightweight lures including small plugs, jigs, and egi to be sent farther offshore.
