SKY’s Pickup Nogare is a slim floating pencil designed for situations where surface-oriented fish are reluctant to respond to floating minnows or sinking pencils. It is intended for presentations targeting small or slender baitfish such as bachi worms, micro bait, glass eels, halfbeak, mysid shrimp, and juvenile mullet, allowing you to approach fish on calm water without making the lure overly conspicuous.
The 120F measures 120 mm, weighs 6.5 g, and is designed to run at a range of 0–2 cm. Its fixed center of gravity enables a quick start-up, while the body is designed to maintain a horizontal posture on the surface. During the retrieve, it produces a subtle wake and slight side-to-side movement while suppressing unnecessary ripples. The basic technique is a steady retrieve just beneath the surface, and this model is designed to begin its action easily immediately after landing. It comes standard with Gamakatsu RB-MH #12 hooks and #2 split rings.
