KEYSTONE’s Day Break is a tip-run squid jig designed to accommodate additional sinkers, allowing the weight to be adjusted according to the current and water depth while keeping the body compact. It is intended for depths ranging from 10 m in shallow areas to 50 m in deep areas. The 3.3-size model is designed to maintain a body size equivalent to a 3.5-size jig even after an additional sinker is attached.
The body is made of rigid foamed urethane. It sinks quickly with reduced water resistance and minimizes resistance during sharp jerks. Even small rod movements produce wide action, making it easy to create a crisp, responsive swimming action. The lineup includes a 3.3-size 35 g model and a 4.0-size 39 g model. Designed for large bigfin reef squid, the 4.0-size model features large KS No. 10 umbrella hooks and an extra-thick 2.5 mm carbon shaft. Compatibility with additional sinkers can be confirmed for each model; compatible options include Yamaria Egi-O TR Sinkers and Tsuken Egi-Sta TR Sinkers. If the sinker is loose after installation, secure it with a band before use.
