MARUJIN’s UK IWASHI WORM is a 3.4-inch saltwater soft lure featuring a silhouette that imitates a Japanese anchovy and a design suited for situations where sardines are schooling. Its internal structure and body clearance have been redesigned to improve casting distance, while its balance makes it easy to reach and maintain contact with the bottom.

While the UK SHAD WORM is designed to produce dispersed vibrations, the UK IWASHI WORM is a fully rear-vibration type. The entire body, including the tail, moves with a high-pitch roll, creating baitfish-like flashes without excessive wobbling. It is easy to select for situations involving micro baitfish or sardines, as well as when targeting fish that avoid pronounced movement. The primary retrieve is a steady retrieve, allowing the lure to be worked through the water while covering different depths. Taking advantage of its bottom-contacting characteristics, it is also well suited to retrieves starting from the bottom and steady-speed retrieves through the mid-water column. Its distinctive rear vibration and high-pitch roll enable a bite-oriented approach that differs from the UK SHAD WORM, which emphasizes covering water.
