KAHARA JAPAN’s KJ Solid Ring is designed to help reduce friction-related wear at connections between braided line and leaders while maintaining connection strength. Stamped from steel sheet, the ring has no seam, giving it a shape that helps handle the load placed on the connection. The surface is also polished for a smooth finish. In addition to tying braided line or a leader directly to the ring, it can be used as a connection point when combining terminal components such as lures and swivels. With its simple design and no moving parts or complicated mechanisms, it can be configured according to the intended application by selecting an appropriate knot and combining it with the desired connection components. Available sizes include #3, #3.5, #4, #5, #6, #7, #7.5, and #8. Approximate rated strengths are up to 27 kg / 60 lb for #3 and #3.5, up to 36 kg / 80 lb for #4, up to 65 kg / 150 lb for #5, up to 95 kg / 220 lb for #6, up to 160 kg / 350 lb for #7, up to 200 kg / 450 lb for #7.5, and up to 360 kg / 800 lb for #8.
