Shintowa Yokubari

Shintowa’s YOKUBARI is a treble hook fitted with a luminous element near the hook shank, giving the hook itself a visual attraction feature. The appearance of the luminous element changes depending on the angle and intensity of the light, creating a reflective effect similar to flashing, and it also supports glow-in-the-dark illumination after absorbing light. Unlike conventional hooks, it adds changing light effects around the hook area when attached to a lure.

The four-point barbless configuration features four hook points, each without a barb. Designed as a replacement hook for use with lures such as jigs and minnows, it is made with the easy handling characteristic of barbless hooks in mind. When replacing the hook, check compatibility with the lure’s eye and split ring, and set it up in a combination that does not compromise the size or action of the lure itself. This model allows YOKUBARI’s distinctive flashing and glow-in-the-dark illumination from its luminous element to be incorporated into a lure’s hook setup.
