Tanajig Aiya-popper

TANAJIG’s Aiya Popper is an offshore popper designed for everything from bluefish to tuna, perfected through extensive trial and error. Its hybrid construction, combining resin and balsa, provides high buoyancy and maintains a stable, upright posture on the water. The uniquely shaped body also remains stable during the cast, making it easier to achieve greater casting distance.

The cup-shaped face is designed to readily catch air, producing sharp splashes on short jerks and large, water-pushing splashes on long jerks. It is suited to surface-popping presentations in which the strength and length of each jerk can be varied according to the conditions. Available in three sizes—160 mm, 180 mm, and 200 mm—with recommended hook sizes of 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0, respectively. Each color features an orange visibility marker on the head and a UV-reactive coating. The lineup includes standard, realistic, and abalone colors, allowing you to choose according to the target species and bait size.
