Crazy Ocean Beam TR

Crazy Ocean’s Ocean Beam TR is designed for easy handling on shared charter boats and compatibility with a wide range of egi for tip run fishing. The tip section is finely tuned for sensitivity, while the rest of the blank is stiffer, allowing it to handle not only the dedicated 2.5–3.5 size egi but also weights of 30 g or more. Stainless steel frame guides with Alconite rings are used, and additional guides are placed along the solid section to reduce line tangles around the tip. An LDB guide is fitted to the tip section to help prevent line tangles during tip run operation. The white tip also makes the solid section easier to see, allowing anglers to respond more easily to lure actions and bites while observing changes in the tip. It can also be used for night tip run fishing.

The lineup includes the 180 cm OBTR-511M, which prioritizes maneuverability on shared charter boats, and the 196 cm OBTR-65ML, which is easy to use from higher fishing positions and is designed for situations involving tension falls and light casting within bays. The OBTR-511M is an all-round model suited to a wide range of egi weights, from light to heavy, while the OBTR-65ML is suited to techniques and casting that take advantage of its extra length. Both models feature a two-piece design, with a maximum line rating of PE 0.8 and a maximum tip run weight of 60 g.
