Yamai Hook

YAMAI hooks are an assist hook series that can be selected according to the type of lure and presentation, including jigging, light jigging, sinking pencils, and plug fishing. The JIGGARMAN AWESOME ASSIST features the SPT503 hook, designed to balance penetration and holding power. Fluorocarbon is incorporated into the assist line to help prevent it from tangling with the jig. It also features longer shrink tubing to help reduce line cutoffs caused by teeth. Available in short and long versions, it can be used not only for jigging but also as an assist hook for sinking pencils.

THE HUNTER’S ASSIST WITH JIG and THE HUNTER’S ASSIST WITH LIGHT JIG feature octopus-style bait and original flashers, and can be mounted on either the front or rear of a lure. The models for light jigs are primarily available in short versions, making them easy to use for shore fishing, light jigging, and inchiku fishing. The MABOROSHI ASSIST W for Plugs and MABOROSHI ASSIST HOOK SINGLE use shorter assist lines to help reduce hook circles around the plug, while the movable hooks support either single- or twin-hook setups. The SPGT Ring version is a ring-equipped hook featuring a heavy-gauge design and an inward-facing point, making it easy to attach to and replace on plugs.
