Deepers Factory Spy V

DEEPARS FACTORY’s SPY-V is a metal jig tuned for the pattern observed when targeting yellowtail amberjack in the Genkai-nada Sea: after continuing to work the jig upward for more than 10 meters, the fish are triggered to strike on the fall. Through repeated testing, it was confirmed to be effective not only for pelagic fish but also for bottom-dwelling species, leading to its commercialization. It was designed as another SPY, with a different character from the original SPY.

Its actions include stop-and-go falling and a slalom action. By stopping the jig after working it upward and transitioning into the fall, it creates an upper-water-column presentation that resembles a baitfish breaking away from the school, followed by a fall that prompts fish to bite. It also accommodates slow-pitch jerks and long-fall jerks, allowing anglers to tailor their approach from pelagic fish to bottom species. A wide range of weights from 30 g to 1,500 g is available, including a 220 g model. It can also be used to target large fish by selecting the appropriate weight, such as 250 g for shallow water or around 600 g for deep water.
