Jumprize Mega Tero-kun

JUMPRIZE’s MegaTeroKun 160F is a floating minnow developed for targeting pelagic fish with the presence of a large minnow and an irregular action in situations where topwater plugs and jigs are difficult to use effectively. Designed for low-light periods at dawn and dusk, as well as conditions with reduced underwater visibility caused by turbidity or rough water, it incorporates the TeroTeroKun series’ signature “drunken” irregular movement into a 160 mm body.

Despite its lipless, high-buoyancy body, it swims stably even on rough water and is designed to reach depths close to those of a mid-water minnow. Its action combines irregular wobbling and rolling, while its sharp response from the moment the retrieve begins is another key feature. The internal weight-transfer system uses specially designed and machined tungsten balls rather than commercially available components, combining the casting performance required for offshore fishing with startup responsiveness close to that of a fixed-weight design. Specifications: total length 160 mm, weight 60 g, floating, diving range 60–200 cm. The diving depth can be adjusted according to retrieve speed, making it suitable for a wide range of pelagic species, from sea bass and bluefish to yellowfin tuna. Treble hooks in size #1 are recommended; for single hooks, JUMPRIZE ShoreBlue 3/0 or 4/0, with #4–#5 split rings.
