JUMPRIZE’s POPOPEN 75F is a topwater plug designed to target fish in shallow areas and those focused on the surface, using a combination of dog-walking and straight-sliding actions. Measuring 75 mm and weighing 11.5 g, it features a floating configuration suited to a wide range of environments, from rivers to rocky shores. Designed for seabass and hirazuzuki (Japanese sea bass) feeding on small baitfish, its high-strength body and through-wire construction make it suitable for saltwater targets, including pelagic species.
Its primary action is a crisp dog walk with a relatively tight turning radius. With light, rhythmic rod-tip movements, the lure swings its head from side to side across the surface, while irregular straight slides occur randomly within the consistent retrieve. The design is intended to trigger surface strikes by suddenly adding variation to a regular presentation. It can also be used by stopping the retrieve and allowing the lure to drift with the current or waves.
