Jumprize Buttobi-kun Light 95SS

JUMPRIZE’s Buttobi-kun Light 95SS is a sinking pencil designed as the lightweight version of the Buttobi-kun 95S, offering a more bite-oriented action and enhanced ease of use through weight reduction. Measuring 95mm and weighing 16g, it is intended for seabass fishing in tidal flats and rivers, Hirasuzuki fishing in calm conditions, and surf fishing. Its ultra-low-center-of-gravity fixed weight system delivers casting distance that belies its 16g class, along with the ability to cover depths from 0 to 70cm.

Its action differs from the powerful, wide-swinging action of the Buttobi-kun 95S, featuring a weak, wavering “Herohoro Swing.” It can be retrieved slowly just beneath the surface to imitate a struggling baitfish, while in current it can be cast upstream and allowed to drift naturally, or used to search near the bottom by working through different depths. The included treble hooks specified for this model are Original #4. Taking advantage of the quick rise characteristic of a lightweight lure, this model is well suited to targeting shallow areas and slow-current zones, allowing anglers to work surface-oriented depths that are difficult to reach with the Buttobi-kun 95S.
