Blueblue Black Knuckle

BlueBlue’s Black Knuckle is a series of baitcasting jigging rods developed through extensive on-the-water testing around clearly defined development themes, with a strong emphasis on precise control of jig movement. The series includes Light Sensitive for light jigging and Fine Control for slow-pitch jigging, and features a specially designed round, thick-shaft rear grip for a secure and stable hold.

Fine Control 630 is a slow-pitch model designed to produce natural, rounded movements without making the metal jig jump excessively. To maintain sensitivity while allowing the rod to bend smoothly, it uses high-modulus 40T and 30T carbon, making it easier to detect information such as bites, current flow, bottom composition, and jig movement. Light Sensitive 631 is a light-jigging model with a supple tip for detecting subtle bites and a responsive midsection that moves the jig appropriately. Its taper design also makes it well suited to horizontal retrieves in shallow water and underhand casts toward the incoming tide. Light Sensitive 660 features a delicate tip and a moderately powerful midsection, allowing the rod to load smoothly while suppressing unnecessary jig movement and helping reduce damage to the fish’s mouth. Light Sensitive 662 is based on the 631 but has increased midsection power, accommodating both sharp jig manipulation and techniques that involve raising the rod to limit the amplitude of movement. Taking advantage of its 6.6-foot length, this model makes it easier to adjust how power is transferred to the jig during vertical jigging. Fine Control 630 and Light Sensitive 631 use Fuji TORZITE® guides and are equipped with a flanged TORZITE model tip guide.
