Blueblue Kumihon

BlueBlue’s KUMIHON 70S is a pin-point casting shad developed for targeting fish holding in tight spots, such as complex structure and along walls. It features a magnetic weight-transfer system using tungsten balls. During the cast, the balls move to the very rear of the body, creating a rear-weighted design that delivers excellent castability and accuracy for a lure of this size. With a compact 70 mm body and a weight of 9 g, it is designed for targeting narrow harbor seawalls, confined areas, and structure during boat fishing.

After landing, the magnetic weight-transfer system enables a quick start to the action and a high-pitch action that attracts fish even over short distances. The weight-transfer system uses neodymium magnets, which provide strong magnetic force despite their small size. The low center of gravity stabilizes the lure’s posture during high-speed retrieves, making it easier to keep the lure on the intended course. It also responds well to high-response twitches and jerks, allowing anglers to work complex spots by combining accurate casting, retrieving, and rod manipulation. It comes standard with two size #8 hooks and size #3 split rings. If the lure tracks to one side, a true tune—fine adjustment of the line tie with pliers or a similar tool—is recommended.
