Blueblue Shaldas

BlueBlue’s Shalldus is a spintail lure developed to bring the fish-catching power of blade lures into shallow areas. Its body features a rounded back and a design that reduces water resistance along the underside, allowing it to rise easily during the retrieve and producing a shallow blade lure that can be retrieved at dead-slow speed just below the surface. The blade’s strong vibration is combined with a compact profile, while its intense flash also serves as an attraction during daytime fishing.

In addition to slowly retrieving it along the surface after it lands, the Shalldus can also be allowed to sink before being worked slowly through the mid or lower water column. The Shalldus 14 measures 60 mm, weighs 14 g, runs at a depth of 50 cm, and is equipped with two #8 hooks and a No. 3 blade. The Shalldus 20 measures 75 mm, weighs 18 g, runs at a depth of 30 cm, and is equipped with two #6 hooks, making it longer and heavier than the 14. Both models use a No. 3 willow blade and can be selected for use from the surface to slightly deeper water by varying the retrieve speed and sink time.
