Blueblue Tracy

BlueBlue’s Tracy is a metal vibration lure developed to enhance the performance of blade-style vibration lures while pursuing ease of use during operation. Its low-center-of-gravity body and dolphin silhouette provide a light retrieve feel, resistance to rising in the water, and reduced line and hook tangling during the fall. The lure is designed to maintain a horizontal posture during the retrieve and to stay horizontal during a tension-controlled fall. It helps suppress the rising that commonly occurs when retrieving blade-style vibration lures and line tangles after casting, while also supporting presentations worked close to the bottom.

The basic technique is to cast, let the lure sink to the desired depth, and retrieve it at a steady speed. It is also suitable for presentations that combine this approach with tension-controlled falls. According to the official specifications, it is available in 15 g and 25 g models. The 15 g model uses size #2 split rings and two size #8 hooks, while the 25 g model uses size #3 split rings and two size #6 hooks. The appropriate model can be selected according to the target depth, current, and casting distance based on the differences in size and weight. After development, field testing was conducted in rocky shore areas, surf zones, rivers, harbors, and from boats.
