Xesta Assist Hook

XESTA ASSIST HOOKS are a series designed to combine jig maneuverability with hooking performance by matching the hook shape, assist line, and connection components to the fishing method, jig, and biting characteristics of the target fish. The “BLAZE ASSIST,” designed for rock shore fishing, uses an original hook with a curved point for secure holding power and reduced snagging. Its flat-forged construction provides strength while reducing weight, and the PE line with a fluorocarbon core offers appropriate stiffness to help prevent tangling with the jig. Designed for inshore jigging, the “SOKUGAKARI JIGGING ASSIST” combines a straight-point hook with assist PE featuring an ester core, and is available in parallel twin and offset twin configurations.

The “SABER ASSIST,” designed for hairtail jigging, combines Suzuki hooks with nylon-coated wire. Its configuration is designed to appeal around the fish’s mouth with black-coated hooks and pink-glow hook eyes, while minimizing damage to the main wire. The “SABER ASSIST CHIRASHI” features a 2-way design that allows the hooks to be set facing outward or inward, while the offset treble-hook arrangement is intended to handle short bites. In addition, the ROLLING SABER HOOK, equipped with a three-way swivel, uses a structure that distributes the load applied to the hooks and fish. The snap version can be replaced without tools. Depending on the model, setups are available for front use, rear use, or both front and rear use.
