Gear-Lab Micro Flip

Gear-Lab’s Micro Flip is a premium tungsten metal jig developed for micro jigging in light tackle applications. Its small silhouette makes it well suited to deep water and areas with strong current. The compact body is made from high-density tungsten and features an asymmetrical shape reminiscent of a spoon. Even in the 35 g class, its weight is maintained while keeping the body compact, helping the jig retain its presence when baitfish are small.

The basic technique is a retrieve after casting, with the distinctive body shape producing a swimming action as it responds to the current. It can also be used with rod-work retrieves and combined with a falling presentation. Its applications can be adjusted according to weight, from shore casting to light jigging from a boat. Available weights include 35, 60, 80, and 100 g, with lighter models suited to shallow water and casting-focused applications, and heavier models intended for deep water and fast currents. Replacement Micro Flip spare hooks are also available, allowing the setup to be changed according to conditions.
