Yamatoyo Abrasion Resistant Shock Leader

YAMATOYO TEGUSU’s TAIMAMOU SHOCK LEADER is a nylon shock leader designed to combine the abrasion resistance of abrasion-resistant line with the supple handling characteristic of nylon, making it easier to build user-friendly line systems. Made from 100% Super Nylon, it comes in clear. Its flexible nylon construction offers handling characteristics distinct from stiffer materials, along with the ability to absorb shock.

The standard model is available in 3–30 lb on compact, highly portable slim spools and features a rubber spool band. Heavier sizes from 35 to 130 lb are also available, allowing anglers to select the appropriate strength according to their line system and load, from light-game fishing to saltwater fishing with large lures. The derivative TAIMAMOU LEADER for FLATFISH is designed with a soft nylon construction to produce natural lure action and reduce the momentary load placed on the lure during casting. It is available in 16–25 lb sizes for targeting flounder and flathead.
