TICT’s Ajista TG is a jig head that combines a hook shape designed for quick hook-setting with the casting distance and handling provided by a tungsten head. The hook features a platinum color based on the Aji Shirobari, a popular hook used for Tosa Kabura, and is made from high-carbon material that maintains strength despite its fine wire diameter while providing consistently sharp penetration. The combination of an open gap and short shank creates a shape that easily enters a fish’s mouth.
The round-based head is made of tungsten to provide extended casting distance. Its angled water-catching surface engages the water, making it easier to feel the lure during retrieves and depth control. In addition, the characteristic hardness of tungsten helps transmit changes underwater and bottom conditions to the angler’s hand. Used as a jig head rig with a soft plastic, it is suitable for steady retrieves, working specific depth ranges, and checking areas near the bottom. It is available in S and MH sizes, with weights of 0.6–2.5 g for S and 1.5–4.0 g for MH. The MH size alone uses the thickest-wire hook in TICT’s history, with specifications designed to handle larger fish.
