TICT’s JOKER is designed to take advantage of the characteristics of ultra-thin monofilament, delivering excellent sensitivity when fishing with lightweight jigheads. It combines an exceptionally low stretch rate comparable to PE line and lower than fluorocarbon, with a high specific gravity close to that of fluorocarbon. This helps keep the line from sagging on the water’s surface when using lightweight jigheads, making it easier to maintain tension. Bites are transmitted directly, it is less affected by wind than nylon line, and its ultra-thin design helps maintain casting distance even when casting lightweight lures.

It has no water absorption and offers abrasion resistance close to that of fluorocarbon, with a hard surface that is resistant to scratching. Because this is an ultra-thin, low-stretch line, set the hook with a sweeping motion, then loosen the drag once a fish is hooked and fight it carefully. It is intended to be used with a fluorocarbon or nylon shock leader to handle sudden loads. When spooling 0.4 or 0.5 on a reel, wind it on slowly with slightly increased tension, and protect the knot connecting it to the backing line with cellophane tape or similar material before use. Available in 200 m spools in 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5.
