TICT’s Brilliant 2.5-inch is a straight-tail worm revived in response to popular demand. Designed with a baitfish pattern in mind, it uses its substantial volume to target horse mackerel and rockfish feeding on relatively large baitfish such as sardines and anchovies. Its prominent silhouette is intended to make the presence of the bait clear to fish.

The body features ring-shaped ribs that catch water, along with a paddle tail at the rear. The combination of the voluminous ring body and paddle tail helps create a strong presence throughout the worm when retrieved or falling. Its size can be used to advantage when smaller worms lack sufficient silhouette or attraction, or when targeting fish chasing larger baitfish such as sardines and anchovies. It is suitable for probing the depth range where baitfish are present by rigging it on a standard saltwater setup such as a jig head and incorporating steady retrieves and falls. Taking advantage of its 2.5-inch volume, it is an easy choice when targeting relatively large fish such as giga horse mackerel and 30 cm-class rockfish.
