TICT’s M-CARO is a carolina-rig sinker designed to make it easier to search offshore depths with a unique backslide fall that carries a long-cast rig farther offshore as it sinks. After landing, it sinks while gliding diagonally offshore, and even after the action, the rig remains pulled from both offshore and shoreward directions. This makes it easier to maintain the desired depth when working the rig at various speeds. Its inline design uses a large-inner-diameter tube for improved bite transmission and easy probing of changes in current, such as current seams.

The M-CARO ver.II allows the slide-fall angle to be set from approximately 15 to 60 degrees, with Short Slide, Normal Slide, and Long Slide options to suit the conditions. Heavier sizes have also been added compared with the previous model, expanding the options for reaching distant spots. The lightweight Tuned Weight model is easy to cast with minimal splashdown noise and supports dead-slow presentations near the surface as well as super-slow falls. The compact Mini M-CARO slightly reduces the backslide, making it easy to work like a jig head around the edges of riprap along breakwaters and near cover. The Mini M-CARO can also be used with a simple rig by threading it onto JOKER monofilament line in 0.4 or 0.5 size and securing the lower end with a float-stop cushion.
