O.s.p i-Waver SW

O.S.P’s i-Waver 74 SW-F is a floating, I-shaped minnow tuned for rockfish and sea bass feeding near the surface, under conditions where marine worms and sardines drift just below the water’s surface. It features a vertically and horizontally symmetrical body that helps maintain a sideways posture reminiscent of a weakened baitfish. The joint is not designed to produce a wide tail swing; instead, it absorbs rod-tip movement, variations in retrieve speed, and the up-and-down motion caused by waves, suppressing unintended action while producing a natural swimming motion that blends smoothly with the water.

The SW-F uses a rear-weighted design with no weight in the front and a dedicated weight in the rear. This stabilizes its posture during the cast and helps prevent the nose from pointing downward, even when using a thicker leader, allowing the lure to maintain a surface-to-just-below-the-surface range and create a wake. It also responds to ultra-slow retrieves and pauses, enabling topwater fishing while keeping the lure visible as it moves across the surface. The tail combines tinsel with special fibers, creating a flashing, water-gripping braking effect as it shimmers like a tail fin even when paused. It measures 74.0 mm in length, weighs 4.3 g, and features a floating design with ST41 #10 hooks.
